Here is How to Make Wind Turbine

How Power was Measured

    ● Include items in your design journals. Place each item on a separate line and include text, not just numbers.

  1. o Arduino board
  2. o Wind Turbine base
  3. o gears
  4. o blades

    ● Number of blades used (1, 2, 3, etc.)

  1. o 3 blades

    ● Describe the configuration of your blades (cardboard, balsa, combination, curved surfaces, etc.)

  1. o Curved cardboard

    ● Fan Power Used (High, Medium, Low. Note use High settings)

  1. o High fan power

    ● Distance from fan to hub (give answer in meters to 2 significant digits)

  1. o 1 meter away from the fan

    ● Give size of gear that connects to blade shaft (units of mm)

  1. o We had a 105 mm gear attached to the shaft

    ● Give size of gear that connects to the generator (units of mm)

  1. o We had a 15 mm gear attached to the generator

    ● Give type of generator used (low or high torque, or give a picture of the generator)
